Alys Royce arrives to discuss trade with Master Arryn.
Arryn had the Royce escorted to his private business rooms, where he was waiting with two cups of poured wine. The establishment looked busy, with various small time merchants and sailors rushing in and out for the various services Jasper supplied to the people of Gulltown. Jasper smiled and stood as Royce entered, and bowed flamboyantly.
My Lady Royce. Welcome.
Alys walks into the.the room wearing a low cut red silk dress. She smiles warmly at the man and says "Master Arryn I have come to discuss the possibility of establishing a trade route with the Summer Islands."
Jasper nodded, and gestured for lady Royce to sit opposite him. Clearing his throat, he looks down at the map laid in front of him, and traces his finger from Gulltown to the collection of islands that lay to the far south.
Hmm... He mumbled, and scratched his chin. He appeared to think about it for a long time, before finally looking up at Lady Royce with a smile. I think that can be arranged, my lady. He paused slightly, although, it will come at a price. Standard fee, of course.
Yoren Footly arrives to discuss trade with Arryn.
She smiles seductivly leaning across the table as though attempting to get a better look a the map. The motion her pale bosom. "Of course master Arryn and what is you tt standard fee?"
Lord Footly is admitted to Arryn's solar shortly after Lady Royce's visit. The table was set out similarly.
Arryn shifted uncomfortably in his seat, reminding himself to keep his mind on business as his eyes wandered awkwardly back to the map.
Urm... twenty thousand dragons? He ventured, thinking starting high would be a good idea.
Footly sat down and began:
"I was intending to discuss a trade route with Essos. Volantis in particular. I wonder if you can help me with this?"
Jasper smiled warmly, and slid a goblet of Dornish wine slowly towards him.
Of course, Lord Footly. Volantis, you say? Similar to his meeting with Royce, Jasper traced his finger from Gulltown to Volantis, estimating the length of the journey, the stops, the obstacles. Hmm... Yes. He murmured, before taking a sip of his wine, I can do that for you, Lord Footly. For a modest fee, of course. Jasper drummed his fingers on the table.
Footly nodded.
"How about 15'000 dragons once the route is negotiated?"
Jasper frowned, recalling memories of Volantis. Supping his wine again, he spoke.
The Volantene triarchs are notoriously suspicious of Westerosi, as well as undeniably rich... He paused and leaned back in his chair, letting the silence speak for him as he gazed at Footly.
Footly tapped the map.
"Very well, 20'000 Dragons."
Jasper smiled, and nodded.
Done. I shall see to it that Tumbleton gets a trade route with Volantis as soon as possible.
Footly nods gratefully.
"A pleasure doing business with you."
He gets up to leave.
"Fair journeys!"
Alys rests her hand lightly on the mans arm feeling his pulse quicken as she does so. "Are you sure you could not go a bit lower Master Arryn?"
But... Fifteen thousand... He paused awkwardly, unsure of what to say or do in this odd situation.
"Done," she says standing. "The money will be given to you once the lane o s secured." She smiles seductively looking at Arryn before saying "I hope w we can see each other again Master Arryn."
Arryn merely nods slightly, having become quite embarrassed by the whole seduction experience.
Ooc: Sorry Richard, i forgot because I was gearing up for war. I'll pay you your gold next Friday, just the minute it comes in.
