Should fear matter more?
Hello all!
I was recently thinking about how the combat in Attila could be improved somewhat and the fear mechanic popped up in my head. I'm not sure if you guys have experimented with this idea before, but what if higher tier cavalry and infantry got the scare trait? At higher tiers of infantry, they wouldn't be prone to getting scared by other units, but other lower tier infantry like levies might get scared and waver if being charged by high tiered infantry or cavalry. I also think this would make having high quality spear units guarding your flanks more important.
What are your thoughts on this idea?

A good idea. You probably want to change the routing mechanism too than. Because no matter what tier at a certain amount of routing units within a certain radius they wll start to route also. You can adjust these parameters in the script or use the routingpart of my battlemechanics script in which this is already implemented. I don't need credits for it, free to use and explore and test.
Greetz.
