A gigantic, monstrous creature could be seen gliding above Shipbreaker's bay. Emerald wings rose and fell, carrying the dragon and its rider into the safety of Storm's End. The skies were relatively calm, but a storm was brewing in the grumbling clouds above. Landing gracefully in the courtyard, Vhagar's one eyed rider slipped from the beasts back onto the stone. It was clear who had come, and he wished to speak with Lord Michael Baratheon.

Roryn Wensington, the steward of Storm's End, nervously greeted the prince welcome with ten guards forming up behind him, keeping a careful eye of the enormous beast. Archers and crossbowmen stood ready for any sudden moves on the walls, but they would probably not be enough against Vhagar. Aemond was quickly led through the keep to the great hall, where Lord Michael Baratheon, his family and a few of his loyal bannermen stood. Lord Michael made a slight bow to the Targaryen.

"Welcome, Prince Aemond. I am sorry to hear about your loss, we have all grieved for your father. Now, we did receive a raven from your brother, and I suspect you're because of it."

The Dragon settled quickly, lying flat on its belly in the courtyard whilst it patiently waited for its master. Two enormous eyes glared at the archers, as a fainy wisp of smoke rose from the beasts nose.
Aemond, meanwhile, had been led to lord Michael Baratheon, and offered a curt bow to the Lord of Storm's End. He did not smile, merely gazing up at Baratheon with his good eye.

My Lord Baratheon. He said, before pausing. You are correct in your assumption. My brother sent me here to Storm's End to bind you to our cause. The One Eyed Prince finished with a small smile, and looked directly at Lord Baratheon.

Prince Joffrey Velaryon had arrived on Tyraxes, looking for an audience with Lord Baratheon. Upon noticing Vhagar, Joff parked Tyraxes away from him.

Aemond turned as he heard footsteps, and his smile quickly disappeared as his eyes instinctively narrowed.

What are you doing here? He growled at the young prince, before looking back to Baratheon.

'I might ask the same question.', bowing before Lord Baratheon. 'My lord, I was sent here to seek a marriage with one of your daughters.'

I feel I am more of age with them, my Lord. Aemond said, angrily. Rage boiled beneath his skin, and he furious with the new arrival. Very brave of a bastard. A waters is not fit to wed a Baratheon. He sneered, and his hand fell to the hilt of his sword.

'Tough words. Too bad that's all you are. Words.', Joffrey placed his hand on the grip of his sword, but not unsheating it yet. 'You're only tough with Vhagar. A female dragon for a female.'

Aemond laughed harshly at the boy, and stepped towards him.

I'll split you in two, you poncy little bastard.
He said venomously. He stood a head or two taller than the young boy, but Aemond would kill him if he had the chance. The sword slid out of Aemond's scabbard, and was in his hands; pointed directly at Joff.
My Lord Baratheon, He said, keeping his eyes on Joffrey. Allow me to slay this Strongspawn. It would be my pleasure.

Joffrey drew his sword, crossing it with Aemond's. 'You could only wish to be better than me, one-eyed bastard.'

Michael Baratheon looked sternly between the two before roaring his answer, turning everyone's eyes towards him.

"ENOUGH! I will not have blood spilled in my halls, so put away your swords before I'll have you both thrown in the dungeons."

The Lord of Storm's End closed his eyes in thought. What should he do? Aegon had claimed the Iron Throne for himself, and were now seeking allies before those loyal to Rhaenyra could make a move. Aegon had promised rewards for loyalty, what would his half-sister give? Members from both sides of the families stood before him, one asking for the hand of one of his beloved daughters, while the other had not said much except threatening the other. Michael opened his eyes again.

"Prince Joffrey, you ask for one of my daughters' hand in marriage, but you are just a boy of twelve, and we would have to wait years before the agreement can be sealed. However, I've not heard what Prince Aemond's offer. Would you be willing to my wed one of my daughters for my fealty?"

Aemond sheathed his sword, and nodded.

I would do so here in this very hall should you wish it, Lord Baratheon. I am promised to no other.

    Lord Michael nodded.

"Then it seems we stand at an impasse, young princes. You both offer me the same deal for my loyalty, so what else can you promise? Aegon II, as he calls himself now, has offered great rewards, along with seats upon his small council. Can your mother do the same, Prince Joffrey?"

Yes, my lord. Almost all seats on Her grace's council are still vacant. The usurper is but a thorn in the sight, his only true supporter being Lannister, while the Arryns and powerful crownlandish houses such as Velaryon and Darklyn stand with us. Supporters are coming to Dragonstone even from remote areas such as the Reach. As for the marriage, I can assure you there's enough in my pants to seal the deal right away, if you would give me a hand of one of your daughters.
    Make the Reach great again.

Aemond frowns, and looks at the small boy of twelve.

You are too young to wed, Joffrey. That much is a fact. He says harshly, before shaking his head in disbelief at what the child had just said.

Atleast I don't have a dozen bastards running around., responded Joff to Aemond.

You would know a lot about bastards, wouldn't you? He hissed, and turned back to Lord Michael.
