Claw Isle, Seat of House Celtigar

Claw Isle is a small island lying off the coast of Cracklaw Point. Castle Celtigar lies on the south of the island, located atop a small hill. Below the hill lies a small walled town, where a wharf stretches across the coast. Fishing vessels and rowing boats are docked here, along with a few trading galleys. Lady Helicent’s ornate flagship, The Red Claw, is also docked, alongside one or two military vessels. Hills and rough country separate the south of the island from the north, which is populated by a few sparse farming villages, as well as a large fishing settlement protected by a crude palisade fence.

As he had promised in the King's feast, Archibald Hollard booked a passage for Claw Isle to discuss business with House Celtigar.

The first thing he did when he arrived was to ask for an audience with Lady Helicent.

Lady Helicent had Hollard escorted to her solar, where she sat alone, reading, her two violet eyes scanning the pages of some dusty novella. Looking up slightly, a quick smile formed on her face as she hastily set down the book.

Ah. She said politely, and quietly cleared her throat. Master Hollard, I am glad you decided to take my offer. She looked up at him inquisitively, before offering him a seat opposite.

She leaned forward in her seat, and rest her arms upon the table.

I would like trade with an Essosi free city, preferably Tyrosh. What would you charge for such a service?

Hollard nods. Crakehall had wanted the same. It was evident war was about to break off.

"Excellent choice, considering the state of affairs in the realm. My usual fee for Tyrosh is of 15,000 golden dragons."

We share your concern and believe that wartime is no time for a wedding. Our side can ill afford the time it would take or the chance that pregnancy will render you unable to give full effort to the war. As such let us consider this a betrothal, and once the war is won we shall bind our houses.
