Default [REQUEST/QUESTION] Change Bulding Icons - they all look the same

Does anyone know of a mod that changes the building icons?

They all look the same to me. IMO they would need more distinctive features in the pictures.
At the moment the icons show the buildings from far away with lots of trees etc around them - that's what makes them look too similar to me. Instead I would prefer clear symbols of what the buildings purpose is (ships in case of a port for example).

Is anyone working on something like this?

Yeah to my own mod, but I am sure with a few edit and using rome 2 asset you could do it yourself.

use PFM to extract both rome 2 and ATtila files go under the UI folder, and find the buildings pictures.
Make a pack file with the same folder pathing, give the new pictures the same name as those you want to replace, and it will show the new ones.

I hope it will give a insight to do it, Or else look up this guide:

Or look How I wrote this pack file:

I help you because I share your opinion, but don't have the time to do it.
