Any way to add Guard Mode back?

Does anyone know if it's possible to add the Guard Mode button back into Attila? It's mind boggling that CA removed this function in Rome 2 and still hasn't added it back in Attila. When Rome 2 first came out units ran all over the place without player orders then they changed it so they never moved. Now in Attila units will chase units when they start routing and the battle lines get all screwed up. There was literally no good reason for them to remove this function that is essential and has been in the series since Shogun 1.

And also I would like to have "give units to AI" option of Rome 1 back, at least units wouldn't sit there doing nothing till you give order when you having hard time with micro management.
I'm aware that there are 2 AI options atm, but they are not useful imo.
