    Default Eyes of the army

    I just had an idea today about battles. I want to give all light cavalry the guerilla deployment ability. This way they can act like they do in real life. As scouts and skirmish before the main battle occurs. Maybe even give all skirmishing troops this ability for more skirmishing before the main battle commences. I've tried to figure out how to do this, but it might be over my noob head.

    I dont know what the guerilla deployment ability is, but ,

    if the map has a lot of trees and hills with the enemy nowhere in sight
    I send out cav scouts and go into first person mode to scan around the area.

    It feels realistic, and as soon as the first contact is made I send them back and begin making decisions.

    Scouts should be used this way

    Guerilla deployment allows a unit to deploy outside the deployment zone (but also outside the enemy deployment zone)... But most scout units (the Roman ones at least) already have this ability...

    Hm didn't know that. I think it might make the AI distort it's battle plan by chasing the scouts and skirmishers too much if too many units were way ahead of the lines.

    It's the hardest mod I've made yet. Really a pain in the ass to edit unit attributes. It's way more difficult than I think it should be. But here it is, http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...30&searchtext=
