Seeking wife?

I find that I am never able to find a wife with my king which is really unrealistic. My king just gets rejected all of the time.

Is there a mod to increase the chance of finding a wife?

Must be really ugly king.

Base chance of finding wife is %5 and there is another value that increasing this but still not enough as you see

So I increased both and also you should be getting Wife offers a bit more often

Excellent, thanks. How much does it increase the chance by? I've gone 35 turns seeking a wife with my frankish leader and still rejection.

well base value is %40 and modifying value is %10 (idk if this modifying value piles up in time)

Best way to marry your king is to find a foreign princess and pay some $$$ for it. $$$ is a bit more expendable then your king's influence (imo) so spending some cash to get some action is a little more cost effective then gambling with the "find a wife" option

I dispair! Poor Faramund.... about 50 turns seeking a wife and rejected every time. Even using your mod increasing the chance by 10%, he still is getting rejected. My King is now conqueror of the Saxons, the Angles, The Danes, The Geats and the Jutes. But still, he cant find a wife. It is so unrealistic!

well you can open it by PFM and change the base value to 80-90 something (atm it should be increasing it by %35 btw)

But I wonder if u use any other mod?

I'm using the "Better family tree" mod. perhaps that is effecting it. I will remove it and see if it is.

hmm, if it has the same table or same value (about wife stuff), you can combine them

I combined them and changed the value to 80 but nothing is happening in game, still getting rejected. Have I done it correctly?

hmm, yea you can combine like that, or you just can copy the rows and paste in other table

so why wouldn't be working, hmm there is only 1 thing comes to my mind

which is there might be another related value in on of these tables..

What is Faramund's age by this time? I know having children is impossible after a certain age, maybe having a wife also??

42 now. I started a new campaign with the mod changes.

but don't forget to use "Check table for errors" button when u do that with bigger mods, if same values exists etc
