Horrible text!!! help

I have been getting blocky and blurry text in the game. Everything from unit descriptions to the loading text. I notice that when I start the game the text looks fine, then all of a sudden (while in the loading screen) the screen gets resized and scaled on its own, and the text looks crappy from there on in.

My monitor's native resolution is 1280 x 1024, but I dont know if it could be the resolution.

I have anti-aliasing turned all the way up, 1024 x 1280 resolution, AF x 4 and it still looks crappy . What can I do to get the text to come out the way its supposed to? fine and clear. The same goes with the UI and all the text in it, IT LOOKS HORRIBLE. It looks blurry and jagged.

Its really messing with the experience. Help is much appreciated. thanks.

THanks for the welcome. And no I'm not using ATI. I have a GeForce 6800 Ultra.

The text isnt "corrupted". i.e it doesnt come out like a big smear of color. The text is legible but its blurry as hell, and looks very jagged/rough. THe text isn't clear and fine, but blurry; like if you're squinting.

please help. What can it be?

Does the game match your desktop/native resolution?
Also, how bout a screenshot.

You transposed your resolution on the desktop to the one in game, make sure they are the same.
