Default Experience Bug for Units with replenishment

I have stripped all buildings, edicts, general, champion/agent traits from free experience and edited the experience gain. I think I have made the perfect balance for units to gain experience during fights, so this works.

But... I found a bug in the hardcoded software (because there is no tabel or scripting, gone through all of them) that reduces the experience to Zero for the whole army when just one Unit needs replenishment, which is not only due to fightting but also due to snow attrition. Just one unit with 3-5 % replenishment need makes the whole army experience for every unit under the same general reduce to Zero.

Is this a common and acknowledged problem with Atilla?

The way it works in vanilla is that the unit that needs replenishing loses experience, others in the army do not.

I had this when I lost a few men from a couple of units, and the others were freshly recruited a one silver chevron and did not see combat. There experience did not fall on the ones that did not see combat, but did fall on the replenishing ones as they lost more men than they gained in experience.

Something seems to have gone wrong in your example, as from my experience in game this should not happen.

Yes definitely wrong, tried this a lot of times now. Units without losses loosing all chevrons (something I could not have modded) after replenishment. The only thing thats prevents this now is disabling all replenishement in the whole database. This is my in between solution now, but it means constant merging of units and buying new ones, a lot of micromanagement in the game.

Ok, I temporarily fixed this with:
    '

att_effect_force_army_campaign_attrition_snow_resistance -50 for the players faction

Ofcourse this is not the end solution, but at least now I lose the expected amount of experience. I thought the problem was with replenishment, but this works fine. The problem is with the attrition that is calculated at the start of the turn, thereby reducing the experience to zero after battle and ending next turn in winter (or exteme winter, in the ATPY mod I use).

XP lost in TW is completely broken IMHO since Shogun 2 first christmas patch... The really annoying thing is that it's hardcoded.

Battle hardened veterans that fought dozens of battles and managed to survive from the begining of your campaign got a ridiculously low level compared to newbies recruited at rank 5 thanks to various bonuses. It feels SO WRONG for me.

All that because the XP system is totally unbalanced and broken, as soon as you'll replenish you'll probably loose a level or nullify any exp gain during battle, even if you managed to achieve a 3 to 1 kill ratio.

Hopefully army tradition feature make it a little less frustrating and allow a small feeling of achievement... Better than nothing ...

Just fix this with a small xp gain every turn when in fortified or garrison mode. Not that much of an issue, I think. I did it here.

For me it won't do the trick as i don't want my units that do not deserve it to gain exp doing nothing at all.
So in the end i rather just use a champion in my army to train my soldiers.
