    Hey guys, I'm getting lots of CTDs. For if it's usefull, I'm getting them in at least three circumstances: 1. little after I press the change-turn button; 2. When the other players make their movements after I press change-turn, specially when it's the Boii's turn; And 3. sometimes randomly when I'm in my turn. Fortunetly I haven't had after battles (that would really upset me), but it's still annoying. Any suggestions?

    Aye.
    Wait for 2.02b there were problems with the campaign script. 2.02a was in fact using the 2.00 base version (not base 2.01) of the script, due to a mix up somewhere along the line.

    Anyway- the script has several updates here and there from the teams own version added to it as a bonus. That's likely the issue here.

    I deleted the bin files when I installed 2.02a -- tried again just now and still have the Medieval Invasion of florins and dread.

    edit: Checked the recycle bin to see if there were any accidental deletions the first time around, and I can confirm that I only deleted bin files.

    I think that's an "Eastern Greek" cultural type settlement, as opposed to a "Western Greek" cultural settlement. They are not the same thing, although "Eastern Greek" is also different and clearly distinguishable from "Eastern" cultural settlements.

    It's right there in the descr_strat, no idea why it isn't appearing. The road is missing too. I'll check what's going on in mine.

    Without you posting an error log, we've no way of discerning what's wrong.

    There are also Eastern Greek polis buildings, so it should be there.

    where is the zip file?

    I've removed it until 2.02b is ready. No point more people downloading 2.02a when we know it's full of bugs.

    The summer release is weeks away, this next one is hours or at most another day away.

    Still,with EB2.02a I made some custom battle tests:

    1)I too can confirm that cavalry charges are ridiculous.Even against hoplites,even simple roman equites,complitely obliterates them from a single frontal charge.Charging with cataphrakts are not even funny,...but I guess atleast those should be the best there is in cavalry department.

    2)I made some tests with chariots and found interesting results:Against weaker tier infantries,like german clubmen,even the celtic chariots beat them from a frontal charge.Now I don't know if chariots should be that strong against even these clubmen,but against lightly armoured/armed and in a not so dense formation,perhaps this is the realistic result.What I liked,in fact, is that against spear infantry that are more disciplined and dense(even uisusparios),chariot charges from the front fail badly.....and I mean they are useless.Using scited chariots on the other hand are awesome(I think they should be ).So don't know how you did it,but I find the perfomance of chariots realy well made.

    In my descr_strat file, there is no mention of roads or a hellenistic polis in Chersonesos.

    Actually there is a trait-based code that gives a slight movement points advantage on home territory over movement in enemy lands. This applies to both the player and the AI though.

    I can no longer remember if there is a specific AI boost to movement, but if not, it is easy to add one by adding the desired effect to the AIGeneral trait line.

    Ah, that would be because I forgot to add it (I looked at Byzantion, which is Chersonesos Thraikia, and thought I'd seen it). Updated in 2.02b (which I appreciate none of you can see yet).

    I've updated the first post with some more of the coming changes. Just doing final testing, then 2.02b should be ready.

    I'm a patient person, I had waited for 3 years for Dominion of the Sword pre-alpha mod and I had waited for 3 years as well for EB 2 v2.01. If it is 3-4 months away from summer release I will have the patience to wait til they had the summer release.

    I doubt they will release in summer since i'm not always optimistic with the mod dev's supposedly due date. I already learn this back in 2011, never trust the DEVS.
