    Default Bug? Cavalry Animation Super Speed

    I am playing the Spanish and since then, when I zoom in on cavalry units engaged in melee during a siege, the horsemen will do his attack animation 2x the normal speed of all infantry units, so it looks like the guy (and horse) are having a seizure and slashing for deal like and the infantry units take their leisurely time in attackin the cavalry. This is only seen during siege on the streets as all my battles in the campaign have been sieges. Anyone else can confirm this?

    I've seen this myself once or twice, after checking I didn't have the speed up (and I didn't). There was a problem of this on the dual Athlons for Rome I've heard, so it could be hardware related once again.

    Yeah, I've been getting that too recently. And actually, it really screwed one of my games where the opposing general was the only unit left, and started doing like triple time attacks killing 3 units dismounted noble knight , and 2 feudal knights. I was quite in shock, and confused as all hell.

    Its not duel core related, I have a single core AMD 64 and my cavalry also speed up and look like they are on steriods during seiges and battles... its a bug that will hopefully be resolved with the new patch?? if they ever make one. As far as duel core is concerned I will avoid them for aslong as possible because of all the problems they have with gaming.

    Well, that is good to hear, since I do have a Dual Core, except for verena xeventus post. I have not installed any updated drivers for the AMD processor nor the optimizer, so I can quickly find out if the 'bug' exists even with the fix to further enhance vx's claim. Will report later, thank you guys.
