Default General/hero ancillaries, specially hit-points unclear to me.

Hi. I just got to Play this awesome mod again after some years away from it. Im playing Reikland and I took this Kurt Marschall guy out with a unit of handgunners, crossbowmen, and Reiksguard each to besiege the Beastmen/Rottfurt Settlement as the beastmen army was out besieging defensless Bögenfeld, so I tried to Lure them away like that. It worked but instead of entering the battlefield and retreating, I retreated on the campaihn map, resulting in me being cornered by a full stack of beastmen against my 3 Units and General/hero. What happened was a Thing of Beauty, resulting in amp supply of roasted goat meat for the whole entire empire.

So I checked out my General traits since this guy was chopping them down without end, bogging Units down, while my handgunners where vollying away in their backsides. And the dude survived. No where I could find something indicating he has a special amount of hitpoints. Are These hidden somewhere? Is there any clarification as to how strong of a melee unit this Karl Franz or Kurt actually is?

I would like to know to have some sort of indication of how Long I can Keep them in battle and if this beatmen battle was just a Thing of luck resulting in Übermut if I think I can just throw them in there like that every time.

He has bonuses to command and loyalty, but I don't see any added hit points. His general unit is Reiksguard Bodyguard, though, which are some of the best cavalry in the game, and they have some experience already. Luckily for you, Karl Franz, Rudolph Franz, and Kurt Helborg all have that same bodyguard unit. Everyone else in your faction has Greatsword Bodyguards.

In general in this mod, bodyguard units are very tough elites, your top generals are strong heroes (but not invincible!), and remember that general units heal casualties over time after battles, no need to constantly retrain them, so do feel free to use them as frontline troops, just keep an eye on them.

yeah thx i get that. ist just that the actual added hit-Points might not be textualized in the generals scroll, but maybe they added more hit-Points without descriptions. That would explain my experience in that battle for instance.

has any one an idea how man hit-Points heroes have? How many normal Generals?

Check descr_strat to see what traits he has, in case he has some hidden ones, then export_descr_character_traits to see what they do.

Cool thx. Shame really that the modders didnt added the desciptions. For instance I also found out that the Ragnar mercenary captain has 50 extra movement-Points, Rodrigo gets you +10 popularity, Maximillian is a supurb ambusher, Drug is good at looting, etc. Never knew all These things.

This imo should be added in the in game scrolls on future updates, if not for Information purposes, for RPG purposes.

I wish I could rep you guys, but Ive been naughty.
