Recommend me an anime, Sher Khan! (Version 2)

Just finished watching Paryste the maxim. I'm surprised by how good it was, but people tell me Code Geas is better. I watched the first episode and it didn't really stand out in any way imo. Is it worth watching?

People who think Code Geass was better than Parasyte are likely the same people who will say that SAO is good. Don't listen to them.
Code Geass was enjoyable to watch, but then so was Valvrave (basically vampires + Gundams + space). It's good only for the ride

Knights of Sidonia remains a very strong SciFi show in its second season. Love it! Even the hints at harem stuff aren't too annoying because the rest of the show is so good in its scifi, survival stuff. Also like the cultural/social implications of that show.

Harem is merely a bait; in reality there is no harem there since everyone is going to get remove by captain.

I mainly think the story would have more impact if they played the relationship aspect straight and not create this weird collection of girls all kind of interested in the hero and not. As a gritty, dark SF military drama it would work better. That way essentially the only group who have close ties to their comrades are the Honoka sisters for obvious reasons. It's a bit wasted as the anime and manga don't really need this kind of fan service constructs and it doesn't quite fit the tone of it.

No, that goes to Ore Monogatari and maybe Yahari. Maybe. This season didn't feel all that great to be honest.

Skipped Ninja Slayer because it looks like garbage. Punchline I decided to pass on, because it's synopsis sounds dumb and also because I heard it's described as KLK and Rolling Girls, with a spice of S:G, with the former 2 I really did not like at all.

Though I'll say it time again, I honestly hated KLK until around the 15-18 ep mark. I keep hearing Punchline had a interesting plot twist halfway in, but I'll pass wading through super epic fanservice ecks dee to get through it, and I sort of know what it is anyways. I am watching Kekkai Sensen and I like it, but it really isn't a great show, good but not great.

Just watched Legend of Arslan and loving it. Every episode with action filled, i wish it would last 5-6 seasons.

I'm on episode 62 of Legend of the Galactic Heroes and is it just me or is it starting to go stale? So far it's just been blah blah blah let's rebel or Blah blah blah fight the Empire and at this point I'm not sure what their motivation is considering the Empire has already won. I really hope this gets better cause if not I don't think I can make it to episode 110. This could have ended like 10 episodes ago.
