Archers less effective than Slingers
Hello. I today tested something in custom battle. I used the 8 cheap germanic slingers and shot at palatina. The palatina lost 100 men (from 120 total). Now to 8 cheap archers... The palatina lost not even 60 men and the archers mostly shot OVER the palatina missing.
Is that a design decision or do you balance them? With archers missing all the time, they are rendered useless.

Re: Archers less effective than Slingers
Everything concerning the combat is still subject to change as it's in a relatively early state. From the front against units with large shields and decent armour, both archers and slingers are meant to be pretty ineffective, especially those of lower quality. The different fire arc might have something to do with those results, but they'll be further balanced no doubt.
