Don't believe him, even if you try to bend the knee he won't let you, not that I am speaking from experience or anything ...

I... I don't even...wat? woa?
I expected that unit to retreat into the fort and not into the open. New game mechanic revealed to me.

Okay one thing is that I put Renly in a fort, but to make things worse is that I could have taken the fort the turn before when Stannis beseiged KL.
But I must have reloaded the save and/or forgot to build a ram. I think I must have mixed some reloads and saves.
Well. That must have been my greatest mistake to date.
