Stainless steel 6.4 crash on loadup

Hi, I've been playing stainless steel 6.4 for a while, Though i was only able to download it with assistance from a friend (Who i am no longer in contact with), Everything was working fine for a while until i ended up uninstalling Medieval 2 total war due to problems with Multiplayer and Kingdoms. Basically I reinstalled it (perhaps incorrectly?) By installing all of the Stainless steel 6.3 BIN files and putting them in my steam medieval 2 total war mods folder alongside the basic 6.3 file, and i've installed the 6.4 patch, I've written "americas" over the stainless steel file and put "old americas" on the old america file, And so basically i start up steam americas launcher and get to the loadup screen with the crusader, and for about 3 seconds i get the loading message, But i crash to desktop shortly after. Can somebody please help me with this? I've got teamviewer 8 and everything so we can share the computer monitor if you need to see my files, I'm very...Computer illiterate, Unfortunately. I'm sorry if the info i've provided isn't good enough.
