K Mongols Are Really Pissing Me Off...

K MONGOLS ARE REALLY PISSING ME OFF...sorry if i am coming on kind of agressively, but im playing as the turks now, and this is my first campaign, ive unified most of the holy lands, then the turks arrived.
So i thought, ok cool, the mongol invasion is displayed in this better than mtw1, so after i lost about 5 stacks of my armies, i limited them down to one stack, then they took jereuslam, which was all cool cause i thought it was a good challenge.
Now i siege jereuslam and won... "mongols are dead"...so i thought... then they pulled a idiotic barbarian invasion bullcocky thing where another 6 stacks appear from nowhere with all gold and silver valor of their elite troops!!!
Now to me, i defeated them fair and square in my view and do not feel like going back and forth with this... does anyone know how i can disable the mongols from even appearing in the campaign, or any cheats that will take characters or remove armies from the map.
Anything will help, thanks...

not sure but if you go to world/maps and open the descr_strat text and put a ";" in front of every line that refers to the mongols you'll be able to disable them.

so in the descr_strat i think i remember from barbarian invasion, it sais something like "dead until resurected"?? if i ...ah im afraid it will crash if i tweak that. ill go look now. lol

They're annoying me in the way they're cavalry can charge my spearmen head on and decimate them. I had two units of armoured spearmen with gold armour, bronze weapons and a silver chevron which I used to guard the gate of my castle (both in guard mode). The mongols chraged right through the first unit and into the second. After 10 seconds they were through that It was only the bug where the besiegers have trouble with attcking the second ring of defences that stopped me losing completely.

Do the Mongols just keep reappearing even after you defeat them?
Or do they have a limited amount of forces that can be deployed?
Personally, I dont mind having a large Mongol invasion event, or that they have elite troops, but it would be a little annoying if they just kept reappearing constantly throughout the game.

IM playing Spain, H/H. Mongols have taken over all of Middle East, Asia Minor and are working their way over to Constantinople. They appear unstoppable. They crushed 4 full-stack Crusader armies heading for Jerusalem. Havent made their way across Africa yet, but Im upgrading all my cities and castles as much as I can.

same i conqer most of euorope, the mongols are attacking me at african. i hate the horse archers they keep killing my armoured swordmen

Same problem, just had to abandon my turk campaign, as I cannot defeat 9 full stacks, all with 3 silver chevrons. If they didn't have the chevrons it would be fine.

agreed. I say deal with it, or, pick a starting faction farther away from them.

Not really, because if Mongols had faced a turkish power of the strenght and size of what I have, they would have hit a wall of brick, spikes and bullets with their horses.

Walls and pikes dont work agaisnt horse archers and gunners woudlk be overrun by so much cav.

Yea they should be hard but its a game, in real life, they went as fas as Ankara in Asia Minor, in the game, as turks, im down to 2 provinces, .. Im PISSED! and i dont want to start over again as turks because it was kinda hard moving armies..

I think if I play as the Turks I'll head west and try to get a foothold on the European continent before the Mongols arrive

BTW has anyone seen the Mongols head into Russia? they never bothered going there in my campaign, just the whole of the Middle East including Egypt.

I think his major complain is the way the horde function is implemented with them. I myself dont care if they come with 100 stacks, but once i conquer their last city, they should not get another 5 statcks with silver experience and everything upgraded, that just doesnt make sense. -Leon
