In some of the Eastern provinces like Vilnus I've got a heretic I sended a priest to deal with it, but he turned to heretic himself, the other priest turned too into heretic,so I suddenly has got a heretic infestation.And they quikly can upset your public order to red face.So.I think it's better to keep Pope happy by small money as gifts so he would promote your priests to cardinals .Otherwise if you play honest you can lose provinces to heretical unrest. P.S.How to reduce inquisitors efficiency?How to increase the assasins efficiency?

I think if a priest convert many people to christianity he will be effective against heretics. Then he could be elected to cardinalship.
Convert some eastern muslims or pagans with your priests and the heretics will pay for their wicked deeds!

In manual as I red later it said that it preferable to use cardinals vs. heretic since they won't turn to them

How to increase the assasins efficiency?

Try easier targets first like captains...but there's always a level of luck involved. I lost 1 top assassin trying to kill a princess, odds of success were 88%. and had another who at first couldn't kill anything and suddenly kills 4 sicilian family members in 4 consecutive turns
