Default Floating heads and near-invinicible generals.

After playing through a few campaigns unmodded, I finally dabbed into altering the game to my specific taste. So far so good but i've ran into some gripes I cannot seem to overcome by disabling/enabling things. Nor a specific thread or mod that deals with this issue.

Here's Clovis getting zerg rushed, outnumbered 5:1 with no back-up at hand, and the ethereal floating heads.

And here's my loaded mods. No major overhauls, mostly minor tweaks. But most importantly no conflicts, which is what confuses me.
    Anyone? Kinda lost here.

Just because mods don't say they don't conflict on the mod manger doesn't mean that they don't. A lot of mods do conflict since everyone renames their tables differently and a lot of mods use the same tables. It's the one that is loaded on top that will be the one that is used first.

What difficulty are u playing on anything more then normal AI gets buffs that get quite high at Legendary causing units like generals or levies to win in combats that they never should.

My guess is that the floating heads are caused by a reskin mod. Especially if u r using more then one I'm not really sure what some of the mod are on that list.

You're right about the conflict. Managed to get rid of the floaty heads by disabling some mods.

I'm not playing normal as the wre, with Radious, Imperiales Oeconomiae and Better AI. Better game overall but the invincible AI generals problem stays persistent. One single unit of barbaric general can get ganged up by 3/4 of mine and decimate them entirely. They simply won't die. Nor route, even untill there's like 10% left. This god-tier phenomena is really ruining the game for me tbh.
