    Default You can actually win?

Greetings from Spain and thanks in advance!

I'm now with Talabecland and I find imposible to do something. At the start I attacked the Elven ruins and I win that battle without problems, but then suddenly a Silvanya army spawned and attacked me without mercy. I survive that attack, but with a lot of casualties. I tried to recover my troops in the capital, but suddenly another two stacks of Sylvania attacked me, in the south-east province you have at the start. I lose that fight obviously, because I can't have more than 1 full stack, and that's mean I can't have more than 2 units in garrison (only to maintain the public order). Thanks to Sigmar someone called a crusade againts Sylvania, and I could, first of all enter in the crusade to not pay my troops (I was at -1000 gold), and retake the city. Also, thanks to Sigmar someone ended the crusade, because my troops started to desert because I couldn't finish the crusade myself. Suddenly other two stacks of beatsman spawn in my south-west city, and I manage to get two heroic victories with my army, but of course my army was severly wounded, and I needed to retreat to my capital to retrain my troops. But I have no gold! I manage to survive the rage of Sylvania, and the beastman too, but now I will die because I couldn't conquest a single province aside from the ing elven ruins. Now I have -4000 money and the next turn (41) I will have -5000, and -7000 in turn 44 because will be winter and the people of the empire seems to not like winter.

Seriously, I love this mod, but I don't know how can I manage to survive the next turns (and in turn 50 the Storm of Chaos will happen...) without using money cheats, but that's a .

Also I have a Slaanesh campaing, and everything was fine, I manage to conquer a lot of provinces! (5...), and I was around turn 60 or 7,0 but I found two stacks of Nurgle attacking me, and with 5 more provinces, 7 in total, I can only have 1 full stack of chaos knight with a single unit of demons (well, two units, the general was a daemon prince). And when I fall back to my capital to defend from Nurgle, I find them with 3 or 4 full stacks, and they only have three cities...

So, in this game you can win? or the mod goal is to see how long you can survive?

I really find the economy being too, too weak, and the AI must be doing cheats to get money so I don't know how to have a single chance.

Well, keep trying. I actually just survived the chaos invasion myself as Talabecland. I too have lost towns and even my capital Talabheim before I was able to retake it. Even if you're down to your last city and last swordsman just played some epic music as the enemies swarm you and fight to the bitter end. For Sigmar!

I will my brother, I will, but I hope the Emperor forgive my debts.

I'm playing my first kind of test campaign as Averland right now, and I haven't noticed money being too much of an issue. Are you using you merchants to get the most hideously valuable resources like warpstone? That's like half of my profit right there with 2 - 3 stacks.

Also, above troll country there is some very valuable resources. It takes awhile to get there, but even a 1 star merchant can get 1k a gold per turn there. Makes the campaign obviously alot easier.

Disregard warpstone and Troll Country, send your merchants to the World's Edge Mountains to trade brynduraz (purple gems). There are two resources near Mount Gunbad and one near Karak Kadrin. Easily the most valuable trade good in the game.
