Has anyone else noticed that towers haven't been collapsing? Is it just me?
basically what happened was that i was assaulting a city and when i captured their towers they didn't collapse and went to fire on the defenders

It happens occasionally, likely because of developer mistakes that will be patch corrected. There's so much work that needs to be done on towers. I personally think if they have to go inactive once captured, they should have their icon greyed out to represent the archers being dead, as opposed to exploding like they've been grenaded, breaking immersion. This jarring effect is worst with stone wall towers.

They are both too strong and too weak. I saw towers getting captured and working for the other side, one or twice. They should last longer, but should be have fire arrows removed, and be a little less powerful.
I had a palm slap on the forehead moment after watching LegenOfTotalWar's WRW campaign - the fire mechanic means once you start a fire near a tower it will burn baby burn - if you do it right. Has saved me a LOT of troops I can tell you (using Onager of course).
Man is the only animal that deals in that atrocity of atrocities, War. He is the only one that gathers his brethren about him and goes forth in cold blood and calm pulse to exterminate his kind. He is the only animal that for sordid wages will march out...and help to slaughter strangers of his own species who have done him no harm and with whom he has no quarrel. ..And in the intervals between campaigns he washes the blood off his hands and works for "the universal brotherhood of man"-- with his mouth.

It burns almost if an enemy looks at it, but is a bit too strong if it doesn't fall. The range is a bit much. The unwalled towers seem to be badly placed, and are largely a non factor in town battles.
