Icon5 Mods not allowing game to start

    hey guys,

I' am a complete amateur at total war, i have only been playing it since Rome 2 emperor edition (also when i started PC gaming). so i know nothing. I searched the web but couldn't find anything for when I turn on a mod e.g. Radious overhaul, a viking forefather unit mod, and it would load up the Attila start screen, but never move on to the intro scenes, but there was the spinning blue thing so it wasn't frozen. when i play without mods it runs smoothly, but i really want to play mods!!!! btw my computer isn't great, so it could be that
    thanks for the advice!

Check for updates of the mods. Then disable all mods and enable them one by one to discover the culprit.

that is a compatibility problem originated from a conflict between two mods, or one mod and the main game. one way to fix this without disabling any mods would be to edit the mod with a pack manager, and renaming the conflicting. for example renaming the directory "campaign_variables" under the "campaign_variables_tables" tab to "sadisticplatypi_campaign_varibles" will solve any compatibility problems with that file.

Spinning "blue thing" means that program has stopped responding and that means that program is indeed "frozen/dead" in most cases. In rare cases program resumes which never can't happen if it is a mod clash issue. Introduced in Win Vista if i remember right.
