The History Channel special is included with the versions of the game sold in the stores also. I bought mine from EB (pre-ordered), and that was it, all the copies were sold out. So I don't think many people can get a regular M2TW, let alone the Limited Version which is flying off the shelves.
Has anyone tried the soundtrack yet? I am not sure what its purpose is, if all the game music is included on the game DVD, and the game music varies according to the situation (which is good).
heh, my guy had to go in the back and get another copy from "the last case they got"

Yeah, bought mine from Best Buy and got 2 Crescent and Cross DVDs, the map and the soundtrack.Originally Posted by AlfonsoVIII
It was just labeled "Limited Edition" I think. Sounds like not all of the limited editions are created equal.
I ended up getting the limited edition by accident too. I had no idea what it is, but I just wanted the game, so anything on top of that is just gravy, it all costs the same The limited edition is essentially the regular game with a little extra for the same price.
I've got the Limited Collectors edition. Came with Soundtrack, Making Of Doco, Post Cards from Medieval 2 (5 of them, 3 are renders 2 are in game), Map of All Units in the Game and Buildings, World Map and a Limited Edition Figurine. Plus one of the highest quality boxes i've ever seen.
My "limited edition" bought at Best Buy only had the soundtrack CD and no documentary. Apparently the Wal-Mart Limited Edition is supposed to have a documentary on the Making of M2TW, but when I asked at Wal-Mart they had no idea what game I was talking about. not promising.
The "Crescent and the Cross" dosumentary IS SUPPOSED to be an EB/Gamestop exclusive.
If you got the Limited Edition anywhere else and still got the DVD's, someone screwed up in shipping and you got lucky.
Got mine from GS. Preordered since this summer!
