27!??!!?!?!? O_O. Did his wife have them in litters? What turn is it? I'm usually lucky if my FL has 3 kids by the time he expires from a heart attack at age 51.

Also the latest patch allows you to zoom out a bit in the family tree. That's the best there is atm.

I haven't experienced that recently, but in first campaign (prior to patch 1), I had a guy who sired well over 30 offspring, about half of them illegitimate. He even picked up the "Eunuch" and "Infertile" traits about 10-15 years before his death, and still kept churning out 1-2 kids per turn. Not only his wife, but every barmaid in Frisia must've been worn out, and secretly relieved at his demise.

Haven't seen that since though, so I've figured it was a bug where those purportedly child-limiting traits somehow worked to the exact opposite effect.

That place you go to when the world becomes too much? I'm in the world. I'm why it's too much.

"Err... My lord... I really do not wish to pry, truly. But I must know, how is it that you still produce more children after the incident?"

"Ahhh, but it is very simple. Are you familiar with the fool's trick, where one man will be in a coat, and a second man will come from behind and stick his arms through the arms of the coat, and then it will look like the first man's arms are moving independently of his body?"

    "...Yes...?"

    "That's how."

''Sure baby; its completely safe. They [say they] cut it off years ago!''
Anyhow; another historical inaccuracy is to be found. CA is being downright silly right now. I mean industrial revolution before the 1800s?? This is outrageous.

Seems like my family tree is mostly full of infant mortality. I never knew that's what it's called when a 10 year old boy dies.

27 children for one family member should be impossible without mods. If i remember correct the limit is 5 or 7 per person.

Sure, it *should* be impossible. But it isn't. In vanilla, no mods.
