    Default Crash against the Mongols

    Hey all,

So I'm playing with the Khwarezmian Empire and the Mongols just arrived. Instead of fighting them I decided to direct them against my enemies so I signed a ceasefire and then an alliance with them giving them Urgench and Embi (north of urgench) in the process. The problem is however that when I end the turn as soon as it gets to the Mongols a few siege battles start around some of the cities/fortresses the Mongols are near (even though they hadn't even besieged them at the end of the previous turn). What's weird is that I can withdraw from these battles even though they're sieges which is what I do. But then in the last siege the game crashes. I tried giving them the other two cities that they're near but then the game crashes as soon as it gets to the Mongols in end turn. So my question is - is my campaign basically screwed or is there something I can do?

    P.S.
Please contain any remarks along the lines of 'you should just fight them, don't be a pussy'.

    Thanks in advance.

    EDIT:

I actually managed to solve my problem. The thing was that I had given the Mongols Urgench diplomatically without a fight but at the end of the turn they still attacked in a siege but because they were basically attacking themselves the game crashed. I guess it's just scripted that they storm Urgench. I managed to get the city back under my control using a few cheats and that fixed the problem. But there is the additional problem (minor problem) that most of the Mongol commanders have weird messed up names like EMD_GENERAL_NAME_BLAHBLAH or something like this. Any ideas why that's the case?

@martoto - can you give the turn number that the game crashes initially please.

I've had a look at the campaign script and it looks like it fails to check to see who owns the settlement when it gives the order to attack.
I'm playing Titanium with latest bugfixes and the script seems to have been changed to take that into account.
I'm currently playing a Novgorod campaign to test that - I have fog of war off so I can watch and see what happens when the Mongols arrive,
but as the Khwarezmians control huge tracts of land I'm not going to be able to do any deals with the mongols myself.
