Thanks for posting that. During the closed beta I did buy the Albany and I didn't think it was that great, however, never look a gift horse in the mouth!

I can use it along with the Atlanta and the Phoenix to train up my cruiser captain.

I found that there is an Alienware give-a-way. 1 day premium (which is shared with WoWS and WoWP) plus 1 cola.

There is about 4K codes left at the moment. Only 1 per account.

Anyone finding that WoWS is easier than WoT? I've been doing amazingly at WoWS but I'm at WoT as usual. I think it's got something to do with the fact that in WoT you have to worry about things like gun depression and armor angling whereas in WoWS everyone is on the same level (literally!) and HE will always do damage.

WoWS is easier if you're the sniper type who values precision fire more than knife fighhting

There are many mechanics missing from WoWS at the moment.

There is no such thing as 'spotting damage' which means DDs that could be staying alive and spotting enemy ships for team mates and firing the odd torpedo off aren't encouraged to do so by the reward system.

Currently regrinding my way toward the Fuso, I find the Myogi to be worse than the first time I grinded it. It makes me mad.

I've given it a try these last few days and got to Tier 4 on Cruisers and Battleships on both nations, and I'm already not feeling very motivated to go much further. The perpetual torpedo spam (especially by destroyers and their magical cloaking devices) is just too annoying.

Sooo... I've been playing this extensively for the past year, with multiple max tier ships. Gameplay is great and it's a lot of fun, particularly when you hit some trick shots and land in the perfect place.

It's at version 0.9.6. now so it will be relatively "finished" soon.

(one thing I do not like however are the submarines)
