Na dann viel Glück, Neadal.
Very good project. Long awaited. Keep on this good work. Thank you a lot. BTW, when it's supposesd to be released ?
Great work, i can't wait...
My suggestion is to include permanent forts that can be built by generals. the crusaders are known for their fortification works in the Holy land.
Heh, just wait until you see a screenshot of the Palestine part of the map

I can heartily recommend the Italian Wars mod by Aneirin.
In exile, but still under the patronage of the impeccable Aikanár, alongside Aneirin. Humble patron of Cyclops, Frunk and Abdülmecid I.
You mentioned the fall of Edessa as the starting point of the mod on the front page announcement, does that mean its no longer a faction or is it still a faction but only the city fell?
It is still a faction they keep a part of the county on the other side of the river with Turbessel (Tell Basher) Aintab, and other city, the county normally fall on 1150 when it is sell to the byzantine Empire
Question, is it possible to get a reward/penalty based on how you treat the local populous? Let's say I'm playing as Edessa and as ruler I'm tolerant of the local Muslim populous and let them worship in peace. Every so often a script pops up telling of how a group of knights slaughtered some Muslims going against your decree and you can either execute them or let them go. You execute them you get brownie points with the locals but you piss off your fellow Christians, you let them go you get local unrest. You build up your rep enough amongst the locals you can recruit some better local AOR units and better standing with neigboring muslim kingdoms but your support from the church is diminished and some of the more fanatical orders refuse to serve you such as the templars for having a soft handed approach to the Saracen heretics.
That is actually an interesting idea.. but I wonder if it is realistic. The Christian masters arranged a kind of partnership of convenience, otherwise they wouldn't have survived very long.
The relationship with the Byzantine Empire and the Kingdom of Jerusalem would be worth thinking of.
For example, you could decide to get support from the Emperor or the Kingdom of Jerusalem.
The County of Edessa and the Principality of Antioch are the most proper candidates, I guess.
What do you think?
It could be great but for the empire the byzantine never give help until the franks say they will vassalize to the Emperor.
During the Greco-Latin crusade the prince of Antioch was supposed to give his holdings to the Byzantine and recieve Aleppo instead!
Well for role playing it would be pretty good, follow the path of the crusader or create your own path. I like the asking for aid idea, I would probably pick the romans over Jerusalem though since Jerusalem didn't last long.
