Love the banners , can't wait to see the knights. You know a great way to lessen your unit work load, the roman roster for broken crescent is great, just change the royal kataphraktoi to a lance/mace unit and make a mourtatoi unit for their roster and tada roman roster , just a suggestion.

I will use another Mod for the Byzantine unit roster, called the Comnenian Roster or something like that
    But thanks for your suggestions!

Is it from CBUR? Or from TGC? There is a guy who made a Persian and Byzantine unit mod, but his units look overstuffed. They're overly armoured, even the lowest troops. Cavillo, something like that.

Oh yeah, if you want a lance/mace cataphract, you can pick one up from my BC submod. Jedi Knight modified the BC Byzantine one with javelin/mace for me.

And do you need someone to do unit stats?

Take a look here for some cool event pictures: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...windows-for-BC

I am not sure.. I have it at home on my laptop. I can tell you the exact name, when I am back

    Cool
    Thanks for the link!

Well, actually no. I have some support from ForGondor but that is more for the history stuff.

So you'll do the unit stats yourself? I said "do you need someone" not "do you have someone". I am volunteering. I intend to play this mod, so I'll be making a submod anyway once it's done.

Is The Italian Wars finished? I'd like to give that one a try too.

Those look great , did you remember what Roman Roster You are using? Is it CBUR?

Any who, Have you considered using Lord Hamilton's awesome units as another resource for you unit making?
    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...-Unit-Workshop

its open sourced as long as credit is given and a lot of valuable resources for unit making .

Also how diverse will the Crusader states be unit wise?

Did the religious orders have their symbols on their shields?

    Well, yes it was Cbur.

No I didn't know these, but thanks for sharing this information. I will have a closer look at them and consider them.

Well, the Turcopoles, Sergeants and Order knights are going to be quite the same for every Christian faction. But the noble knights are going to be different. Of course every faction will have their own shield texture etc.

@K/t: It is quite hard to find any records for sergeants. But I found a picture from osprey showing them with the symbol only on their shields. Do you have any better sources?

    Nope.

I'm trying to remember what I read about the Templar Knights. Only the full brothers could wear white. The sergeants wore something else. I don't remember where they put their cross, though.

    Yes that is right
But there are much more records for the Templers as for the Hospitaller Knights...

Hi, you are doing a great work. Just a little suggestion if I can. North Syria doesn't have a lot of settlement, here is a map with all you need if you want to add new settlements.
    Northern Outremer in 1143
    Southern Outremer in 1143
