Re: {IND}Discussion
I hope you do not mind, but I advised another modder to contact you, since I realized that the two of you are basically crafting an identical scenario;

Re: {IND}Discussion
Well, I have finished the Templar Knights, so there are only Seljuks, Teutonic Order and several "special" units remaining.
I guess I will finish the units in two weeks.
Then k/t will do the balancing and then you will have your beta
Cheers,
Ned

Re: {IND}Discussion
I wanted to suggest, if it is possible to add the Principality of Galilee or the lordship of Outerjordain as independent factions(since they enjoyed a big measure of autonomy by not being part of the royal domains, and even had vassals of their own). Maybe lordship of Sidon, too. They will be of course bound to the kingdom of Jerusalem by alliance

Many thanks!
The map is actually finished, yet the resources are not placed properly.
But that will be fixed with the full version.

Re: {IND}Discussion
Ashton to give you my personal opinions like Neadal say, the frankish lordships were not independant and they never act separatly from the KoJ, only a few raids on muslims land at best. Muslims secondary states , like Shayzar emirate, deserve to figure as secondary factions.
I also think that the KoJ will get a difficult game fighting Fatimid, Burid and Zengid states if you remove the greatest lordship of the realm they'll not have sufficient power to fight one of them. Remeber that the KoJ often, fight Zengid with the other latin states military forces. It'll be difficult enough to do that I think with MTW2 diplomacy no need to make the game impossible to play for christians.
The only solution is to get all the great lordship vassals of their king but MTW2 can not permit to get enough states because you'll be forced to put:
-Aleppo
-Damascus
-Fatimid
-Antioch
-Cilicia
-Byzantium
-Rum Seljuk
-Crusaders
-Cypyus
-KoJ
-Tripoli
-Antioch
-Edessa
-Shayzar
-Assassin's
-Homs
-Hama
-Baalbek
-Bosra (or Bostra)
-Galilea
-the prinipality of Kerak and Montreal
-The templars
-The Hospital
...
the list is very long and we can't include more than 20 or 21 faction including rebels
EDIT: this is 31 including rebels

It's 30 factions plus rebels.

Re: {IND}Discussion
Thanks, well even with 30 it'll be difficult to make something historical and playable, but make a lordship independant on KoJ and not make it in other states would be irrealistic and would make some problem of playability.
