Thank you to everyone who for voted for me, it's a real honour to win AAR of the year and thank you so much for your support even if I'm a lazy writer. And congratulations to all the other worthy winners and to everyone who participated in the competition. Thank you to the people who nominated stories and users for the various categories, without any of you this couldn't have happened.

And I hope you all join with me in congratulating and thanking Hitai for all of this. He took time out of his own hands to come up with all the categories, post all the submission and voting threads and deal with the various voting discrepancies. I sadly have to announce he is leaving us (apparently his job as editor of the CQ is too much work!) but I hope everyone recognises the amount of work he has done publicly and behind the scenes, be it updating archives or hosting and launching competitions. Thanks Hitai for a job well done.

I can't even announce my own resignation? Someone's anxious to get rid of me But yes, very true. I planned to resign long ago, since uni just cut too much into my time, but I wanted to get the awards finished before I left. I'm not going anywhere though; I'll still be around the Study, so don't worry

Also Scottish King, Dance, Merchant, Radzeer and m_1512 (the guy who came up with the idea in the first place!) all deserve a round of applause for their work behind the scenes on the competition; which was actually in the planning ever since last summer. I'm glad we could actually pull it off Congratulations to all the winners!

Thanks so much for getting this organized Hitai, don't be hard on yourself, you've done a ton of work, and Merchant and the whole Study also with the competitions: and congratulations to all of the winners! I've been really psyched about this for the whole time it was in progress.

    Hello!

How in all seven evil places did I beat Radzeer??? What is this insanity? I demand that Radzeer be second!

In all seriousness, thanks to all that have voted for me! And thank you Hitai for your tremendous work in the Study and in the CQ! (You've done a fabulous job at keeping us all motivated, my friend.)

How do you balance Uni and TWC? I can barely balance College and TWC!

Merchant, congratulations on your victory in the AAROTY! And plot and Best AArtist

Hitai! Congratulations to you and your fantastic protagonist!

    Congratulations to all!

    Thanks

Well done everyone, these awards have showcased some of the best of TWC's writing.

There must be a few WSCM medals needed to be handed out after this?

A big thanks to Hitai for sorting all this out, I fear you have set an unbeatable precedent for work in the WS.

There once was a man named Hesus
All knew he was the best of us
    But his son's, son's son
    Could nowhere near run
The Study quite as well as that Hesus

Not to mention his son, his son's son, his other sons and all their sons. And Bou In more recent memory, Dance in particular actually did far more work, far more consistently than moi.

Everyone please shower praise and rep on Hitai and Merchant!!! They deserve that and more for all the work they have put into the yearly awards. The fact that they both pulled this off with their RL duties (a balance I need to master) is just amazing. I am glad that this was able to work and hope we can pull it off again next year!!!

Also congratulations to all the winners. Your stories, characters and screenshots that you have work so hard to create and allow for us to read is greatly appreciated. I would also like to thank everyone who submitted to the Yearly Awards because you are all winners!!!

    Thank You
