    Default Is anyone going for Skills/Traits/Traditions/Households Overhaul

    Hey guys,

    I would love to have overhauled Skill & tradition trees and all those mentioned on the heading

    For example Sir Dresden made an excellent work with them for Rome 2, I hope someone does for Attila too :/
    Because they simply suck mostly.

    Or do we have to wait till those Official Mod kits show up?^^

    I would really like this mod too. To put it nicely the current system is poop. The skills and traditions are pretty much all extremely boring minor stat boosts. For some reason the "Household" isn't unique to a character. It seems to be shared with everyone in your family or faction. I think that is really dumb. Characters can equip items like it's an ARPG or something. I don't like that at all. It's not clear to me at all how characters gain certain traits. It might as well be random. And finally, it's really goofy to me that the combat ability is randomly assigned to a character when they are created. That doesn't make sense to me at all.

    After some time I created this thread I noticed that Radious did a lot changes for Skills/Traditions/Traits already, but none for Offices (yet)
    They need bigger work.

    And well, about work of the systems, i think some of those you mentioned can be changed, idk how thou.

    "How they gain their traits?"
    Well there are some tables of "trigger" stuffs in database (db), some are scripted (if this happens, this will trigger = that trait will come, condition/s there), and some are not (randomly, %x chance every turn)

    So, as a sum;
    Some are random, yes, but some are not.
