Default The complete list of Wonders (and their effects) for Total War: ATTILA

Hello TWC, I've been working on a video detailing the effects, locations, and custom battle maps (if available) of all of the Wonders to be found in Total War: Attila, and decided to do a text dump of some of the information I've collected. It seems there isn't an easily Google-able list of these as of yet, so I've taken the liberty of compiling one myself.

In Attila, there are 15 wonders that confer factionwide bonuses once you've captured their host regions. A lot of these wonders seem to be holdovers from Rome II - but now with tweaked effects.

Here is a map detailing the locations of said wonders:

    Honourable mentions:

These Wonders are not Wonders as such, but mere curiosities that reside on both the campaign and battle maps. They don't confer any effect, and cannot be interacted with in any way. I thought they deserve a mention!

    Temple of Zeus at Olympia
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_of_Zeus,_Olympia[18]
No effect, yet represented on campaign and battle map.

    Hadrian's Wall
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hadrian%27s_Wall[19]
Present on battle map (outside battlefield, however) and present on campaign map.

Anyway, I hope you found this information useful. Sometimes these bonuses are enough to sway the direction of your conquest.
Also, annoyingly, it seems the Mts. Etna, Olympia, and Vesuvius convert your province (localised) to Graeco-Roman paganism to the end of time... Can we tear them down? Ha

You can keep an eye on my channel for the aforementioned video, though I'll probably post a link anyway once it's released:

Let me get this straight, stonehenge causes public order to decrease? Where is Carnac, I don't see it, I own the province but don't see anything about this wonder mentioned nor see a representation on the map

Select the province on your campaign map and mouse over the province effects - bottom left panel - to see the details. If you can't see Carnac, demand a refund

To the OP, don't forget Babylon - +3 civil development, growth +2. And perhaps the utterly useless Great Wall of Gordan, which refuses to appear in any battle fought in it's vicinity

I didn't forget Babylon, rather, I lumped it in with the "Great City" Ctesiphon. There are four "Great Cities" that also confer small bonuses, that being Rome, Ravenna, Constantinopolis, and the aforementioned Ctesiphon. That was going to be another video
As for the Great Wall of Gorgan, I never noticed that, so thanks! There's no indication in the game files (where I was looking anyway) that things like this and Hadrian's wall exist, so really it's a matter of discovering them whilst playing... which I didn't. So thanks!

Great initiative (+rep). However, the choice of wonders by CA is really awkward. No idea why they decided to add mountains, like Damavand, or monuments that have nothing to do with the era, like Bam (which was also present in R2). They could have added Persepolis or something more reasonable than these... Anyway, Incoherencel, I'm not sure, but I think that the Great Wall of Gorgan has a place in "Honourable Mentions", too, although it can't be seen on the map.
A lot of them are just holdovers from Rome II's time period, unfortunately. There's still files that point to things like the Necropolis of Giza, and the Temple of Zeus at Olympia. Both were wonders in Rome II, and are not in Attila. I suppose the Necropolis was rolled into Pharos and the Pyramids, but I digress. Once again, I never noticed that wall, thanks!

Stonehenge reduces the public order penalty you receive when there are other religions (as in, not your state religion) present in your provinces. E.g. Regularly you'd receive -10 public order for presence of Arianism, but when you capture Stonehenge, that effect is now reduced to -8 (20% less) public order, for a net gain of +2 public order. It increases public order throughout your empire.

The Dolmens are in Turonum, on the southern shore of the Brittany Peninsula, nestled in a forest. It's difficult to find. If you do indeed own the region, there will be an icon in the bottom left when you select said region. It will look like a statue. When you hover over this icon it will display the effects of the wonder.

There's a map in the OP so you can find it.

Basically Rome II wonder stats nerfed by 50-66%. Just like General traits and traditions. Because making sure stuff has less impact is the way forward. Let us make sure we morph Total war into chess so we can brag about balance.

Your effort is laudable but crap like this is what taints the game for me. I'd rather see the necessity to invest funds and turn times to research a technology then spend more money and time to build a structure to see a stable result of it, weather on economy, religion or military, then have monuments boost things they really shouldn't.

I facepalmed Jean Luc Picard style when I saw that religious stones on a hill require food and that they provide sanitation, it made even less sense that people are unhappy because I'm creating jobs for them via industry or food production. I get the idea behind these things but I would enjoy them much more if they made sense.

Now you can go on an elaborate backstory telling me why something needs something but the fact of the matter remains, half of the things present in the game give boosts where they shouldn't. You have tech trees, just diversify them and create a dillema where a player has to choose between getting a better military unit first, boosting the effect of his economy or something else through logical action of researching and advancing it rather than feeding rocks on a hill.

Mr. GrimmCo probably do not acknowledge the existent of enviromentalist groups all around the globe. Also what jobs are you talking? The industry was closed to selected few which were taken as apprentice and later become masters and repeat the cycle. In most cases the uneducated and unqualified helpers were on lowest ranks in society (serfs, slaves...) and those are only jobs you can generate in industry until 20th century. Shrines are supposed to consume food. You are feeding all kinds of oracles, druids, fortune tellers and their helpers and apprentice who are living from work of the farmers and land lords. Not to mention offerings to the gods themselves.

Alright, I'll concede on the industry part. But I will not budge that one shrine and all the accompanying clowns consumed as much food as a mid-tier city.

    And it's GrimmCRO...

I read the Bam Citadel article, truly stunning, and really bummed it was destroyed by an earthquake so recently... these ancient wonders are still disappearing ever year with ISIS and Cyrenaica as recent examples...
