Playing TATW on a Mac
Hello TATW community, I have been stalking these threads for a couple of years now but I just decided to make an account.
I'm interested in playing this Mod on my computer however there are some difficulties since I own a Mac. I am not sure whether the various Mods for TATW would be very compatible because of this.
I have looked around and the consensus is to get Bootcamp which would install Windows. I've used a Mac all of my life so I don't really want to switch systems but I found this thing called Wine which allows you to use a Windows application on a Mac without changing the appearance (https://www.winehq.org).
1) I was wondering if anyone here in the community has used Wine to play Tatw and if so, what kind of experience they had with it.
2) Would it still be possible to install sub-mods for TATW while using Wine to run the application?
I'm not the best with computers but I'm determined to eventually play this mod.
Thanks!

Re: Playing TATW on a Mac
Hi IthilienRanger! I'm a mac user and I have been using Third Age mod thanks to a Wineskin Wrapper created by PaulTheTall. In this page he explains how to use it and I found it quite clear: http://paulthetall.com/medieval-2-total-war-mac/. After having installed Medieval 2 and Kingdoms you need to install the mod in the same way. It worked very well for me, also setting video options as highest as possible. Unfortunately some days ago it has begun to crash in a new way and I still don't know how to fix it. But it may be only my problem!
About the sub-mods I can't help you even if I suspect that they must work as well as the mods.
I hope to have been clear enough, and sorry for my english!
