    Default Adopted Characters (Family Tree)

As Visigoths, my previous high king had a bit of a problem with availability of children or brothers. So, I adopted someone into his family and made it the heir. In turn, I adopted someone into the new hair's family as well. The high king died and the new heir became the high king. However, the adopted character to the adopted high king does not provide any political action choices. Not grayyed out but completely not there.

    Anyone have an idea?

Default Re: Adopted Characters (Family Tree)

I've noticed several bugs in the past where "family" members aren't really in the family, and don't have actions available. I think they've been progressively chasing down the various issues and fixing them in patches, because I see it much less now, but I don't think they've eradicated them all either. These inconsistencies seem mostly to appear in the case of adoptions or characters who married into the family; folks who were originally Other Nobles but came into the royal family as adults...they usually function correctly themselves, but their descendants can be glitched this way.

Does the character's portrait icon appear both in the FT and in the Other Nobles panel? That happened to me several times. Before patch 1, I actually went for a while in first campaign with an FL who didn't have any political actions, lol.
