    Default Visigoths and Arianism

    I managed to make my way into Iberia and settled there. However, I'm following Germanic Paganism. I didn't build any religious buildings and any such building I encounter I demolish immediately. So far, Arianism only went up to 29% and seems like that's as high as it will go. Is there any way to make it up to 35%? Perhaps a region with a natural trait for Arianism?

    Might be too late now in this particular campaign, but hanging out near the Ostrogoths ought to help; they start out Arian, you could pick up some Arian influence via osmosis and/or immigration. If you happen to be at war with them, you could capture one of their settlements and maybe get lucky enough for it to contain an Arian religious building.

    Ostrogoths are the only Arian-start faction of which I'm aware, but there could be others. I don't remember, however, ever seeing one of those "Religion Change" message boxes mentioning a faction converting to/from Arian Christianity.

    Alans start with Arianism aswell. by the way, Visigoths religion was Arianism since the first half of IV century.

    Tripolitana province is the only place within WRE territory where you can naturally convert to Arian.

    There's the early event that gives an influence boost to all forms of Christianity. It could boost Arian enough in some province to convert but I'm not sure of where.

    Why would you want any of the Christian religions in the game? The church buildings cost huge upkeep.

    To be true to history. Plus, its edict bonuses are not that bad.
