Please can you remove (or submod) food shortages on a province level? Like it was in Rome 2. It seems absurd that now each province has to contain farms as they can't import food?! Historically Rome relied on huge swathes of Europe for their farmland whilst others were their military strongholds. It also creates an emphasis on protecting your farmland provinces, because if those are lost your empire can be crippled. It is silly that I can have a global food surplus but a shortage in one province - when in reality you should be able to import from your other lands! Except if blockaded or under seige

This removes the -25% income penalty from not producing food. It's compatible with FOE just make sure to load it above FOE.

hmm, what about Better food surplus effects?

I mean no matter how much u food have, replenishment bonus is always %1, which is totally useless.

Or growth bonus, it's so limited as well.

is there a way to just get rid of the stupid "ice age" mechanic that makes everything infertile after a certain amount of turns? It's stupid that even egypt becomes baron after awhile

Also I too would like to see a mod that does away with regional food shortages. The concept is fine, but the UI and in-depth food importing/exporting options and controls just aren't there to give the player options to deal with it; as usual CA threw in a half-baked addition to further penalise the player in lieu of more challenging CAI strategies.

Well it's a scripted stuff, you should find where it is and remove.

The agriculture effects are normal database stuff, can just set the penalty to 0 and it won't prevent any of the Hun or Campaign Map changes but can remove the agricultural loss.
