Default Submod request for one unit - the late Greek heavy thorakitai (with chainmail)

    Hi guys!

I realize how time-consuming it is to create the skeleton, textures, skins, sprites, etc. for each unit. Even after it took you guys years to release EB II, I'm still amazed at everything you've already done. I do have one small request, though, since it doesn't seem like the Roman faction is going to be fleshed out anytime soon and I want something to tie me over in regards to the Greek factions: the late Greek heavy thorakitai with chainmail armor. These were quite honestly one of my favorite units in the first Europa Barbarorum, and they provided a great competing alternative to the heavy-hitting manipular and cohort legions of the Roman faction. Moreover, they are historically accurate, since the Greeks fielded "Romanized" units to counter the Romans' style of warfare. For that matter, they could compete with the Celts too, who the Romans copied in the first place in regards to the use of chainmail for heavier infantry. Currently EB II has some great Greek units, but they all seem frozen in time during the early 3rd century BC, with bronze breastplates and the like (unlike EB II's sacred band for Carthage, which has nothing but iron breastplates and even iron scale mail armor). From the first EB, here are some of the heavy thorakitai that became available to Hellenistic factions during the 2nd century BC, when Rome was on the rise and the Greeks needed stronger units to counteract them:

That first one there (with the pegasus, i.e. winged horse, on his shield) was for Koinon Hellenon, my all time favorite. Koinon Hellenon also had this beastly heavy unit equipped with iron chainmail armor:

I really do love the first EB for getting this right. Since EB prides itself on historical accuracy, they are indeed accurate too. They are attested in the written histories (particularly in Polybius' history) and appeared in the armies of the Achaean League and Seleucid Empire. The Medieval II mod De Bello Mundi also features them already (alongside the later Roman legions). However, DBM falls short in comparison to EB II overall, especially with the amazing, intricate graphical detail for each unit in EB II.

To be honest, I can't wait to see what you guys have in store for the Hellenistic heavy cataphract unit!
