Default Any idea for reaching ennemy unit?

Seriously, i think i'm gonna be crazy, all unit of the ennemy which are not sure to won against me stay just 1cm out of reach of my units, so it's impossible for me to engage battle and they take my cities by avoiding me everytime, anyone has an idea of solving it?

    1. Slow 'em down with spies, using Misdirect action. Especially during autumn/winter, to maximize their losses from snow attrition.
    2. Look for generals' household items which increase campaign movement.
    3. Put champs with your more important armies; when they hit 6 Zeal (which shouldn't take long, since they're gaining XP every turn by training your troops), they add a nice movement boost.
    4. Try to keep your armies between enemy and cities, so that if they want to get closer to your settlements, they have to try to get past your army first (and yes, this is often easier said than done, especially with weird ZOC mechanics).
    5. Try to use terrain features (rivers, coastlines, etc) to your advantage, herd them into an area where it's harder for them to escape, or at least they're less of a threat.

Yeha thanks but it really looks like broken AI for me, they play like an IA in chess, put themselbes just 1cm out of reach and it looks like the zone of influence of my armies didn't work, there is no mod for changing this?

This is actually where the AI is pretty good as maneuvering your armies is part of the game (as it supposed to be). The AI doesn't let itself get trapped so easily and if you are not careful is very clever in harassing your own armies and undefended cities. Found this out the hard way when my king with my most experienced army got trapped by 3 full stacks and got absolutely destroyed. On the other hand, if you get the hang of it it will be much easier for you to both defend and attack. What I do, I always work in tandems. I have one army for field battles (mostly spears and cavalry) and one for siege battles (mostly swords and axes with onagers) With 2 armies it is usually easier to trap enemy armies. I also have 1 or 2 agents around to defend from enemy agents but also to trap their armies. On sea it can be even more fun, finally caught up with a Geats army at sea with my 2 navies and absolutely destroyed them with hardly any casualties of my own!!

Yeah but it's cheating because the army know how maximum my army could go and always stay just 1cm out of reach, and i have the impression that it's crossing the sphere of interaction of my armies without problem.
This is things that normal players couldn't did...
