SweetFX and Stainless Steel, how can i make it work?
Sometime ago I started using SweetFX in Rome 2, a Huge improvement in the game! Then I tried to apply to the M2TW Kingdoms, with success, the vanila game works fine with no trouble, also the kingdoms campaigns. Other Mods like Call of Warhammer/ Rage of the dark gods, Third Age, With Fire and Sword, Bellum Crucis works also with no problem ( everybody should try this)!
But by some reason it doesn't work with Stainless Steel, it is so frustating that all the other mods work perfectly and not my favorite mod ( six years playing it!).
I have made the default install of the SweetFX, using a Preset for another video game - Guild Wars, search for it.
I even created a new Bat file for lauching the game, in my ignorance that was the only difference with the other mods, but it didn't work, the game is launched without the SweetFX and no mention in the automatic generated Log file, I don't know what to do more!
So, has someone able to point me in the right direction?
Many thanks for any feedback!
Peace and unity!

When you copy the SweetFX files into Medieval II folder it should work. But you dont need that try out GEM mod for Total War games. It also uses SweetFX and some improved shaders.

Nahrime thank you for your reply, I allready know and experimented with GEM, but I think the Preset from Guild Wars works better for me, personal taste.
I left a question in the GEM thread, because if it uses SweetFX and works for StSt64 there is a solution for my problem, hope that someone could point me to the right direction!
Thank you very much!
