Battles - Units moving really slow until close to combat
Greetings, I'm having this weird issue with this mod, where all units walk/run slower than usual (native) and they only go back to their normal speed, or well close to it during battles.
Does anyone know a way where I can force them to move like in Vanilla?
Or any way I can force more than 1.0x battle speed at all times, because If I do that during battle, moving camera and some other movement resets it to 1.0x which isn't a viable solution.
Would appeciate a response to this, I don't want to dump this mod :/
FYI im using 6.4 with crimson tide 4.2, could crimson tide cause the issue?
P.S: I'm not lagging at all, I tried reinstalling the mod without adding Crimson Tide to it, and still same issue!
Note 2: Only played historic battles so far, haven't tried grand campaign yet, maybe its different over there?
Also another question: How do I play the teutonic order, do I need to choose LATE era campaign, can't find it in early-era.
What are the different factions in early era and late era, does late era have ALL the factions or not some of the early era factions?

Re: Battles - Units moving really slow until close to combat
I havent noticed this movement issue. I feel like units move super slow before combat but i think its just because there isnt much going on before combat. It could be that your using heavy units which are just plain slower. Im not sure if it was that way in vanilla.
Late era is where its at unless you enjoy pitting armies of spearmen against other spearmen for 100 turns. teutonic order might be late era only too. They made factions historically accurate as long as it wouldnt destroy game balance, so if a faction didnt exist at the time of the campaign, they wont exist.
If you want a real awesome experience use gryms mod too. its built-in if you select it. What it does is it adds additional barriers as you expand which means the campaign stays interesting as you expand instead of tye campaign ending early with you steamrolling everyone. Its not artificial either, as it has a genuine feel with realistic logistical provlems associated with large empires.
when your small its a non-issue.
