The faction heir, Commio, is listed both in the family tree as well as in the list to the left over "Other Nobles".
Anyone else experienced adopted nobles showing on your family tree but you're unable to do political actions with them despite their vast influence? Is it me or should adopted nobles be a part of the family, period.
Often it happends when an adopted member of the family adopts a member of other nobles...
I try to reload the last savegame few times but never changes...
your general thinks commio is his son and thus his heir, but the truth is that he's not from the family. i know this must come as a shocking news that commio isn't your real son, but better to know the truth than handing your kingdom to the son of another man.
I just realized why it's a possibility. Ollam Ri of Wisdom was a noblemen, I married him into the family just after he showed up under nobles, after doing those WTF riddles. He's became heir to the throne since the king's son died early on. I've been busy with plenty of other things to pay attention to the family tree and when I did, I was shocked to see my dominion so low. Then all of a sudden I realize the guy that was married into the royal family is no longer there just because his wife died.
What is the point of marrying people in the family, developing them to serve the family only to have them get kicked out just because their betrothed died? So, he's been in the family for four decades but that's irrelevant now since his wife is dead, his sons are still heirs to the throne and remained in the family, but he's out. Where's the sense in that?
I just encountered a weird thing in my WRE campaign that I first thought was a bug: my FL and his wife occured twice in the tree, next to each other.
After a while I realised that a case of incest had occured!
The mother of my FL had got a bastard daugther. Don't know if she had been displayed earlier, presume not. When my FL had got a suggestion of marriage (don't know if because I searched for one, or if through diplomatic suggestion, want to recall it was the former) I accepted. And it was the bastard sister!
So suddenly there is a family tree line from the father and mother to the FL and his wife (half-sister), as well as a bastard line from the mother to her daughter and her husband (the FL, half-brother)
As I returned to paganism I assume folks are fine with some god-like or Egyptian conduct, as I've seen no draw backs yet - we'll see how the children turn out![]()
