IDEA: RELIGIOUS EVENTS

Is it possible for someone to create a mod that adds religious events to the game? Normal events, chain events, etc. Because as of now, honestly, the religious mechanic in Attila feels underused. I feel as if much more could be done to expand upon it.

EXAMPLES:

• Graeco-Roman: You'll get chain events about a certain God or Goddess, or practise a certain religious ritual.
• Latin Christian: You could get events about say the birth of Christ sometime in winter, or something similar.
• Greek Christian: Disagreements with the West, its own Christmas in January, etc

Perhaps the events would be mostly for flavor, but also could give bonuses? (Eg higher conversion rates, more stability, etc)

Or maybe even terrible things that could happen, such as omens or heresy? (Example: The Gods are Angry! We must sacrifice a bull!)

I suggested this on the official Total War forums here some time ago and the last comment on it really got me thinking. It's sort of also inspired by Rome II's decisions, where sometimes religiously inspired ones would come up.

Anyone got any ideas? Anyone willing to create a religious events mod? Are we even able to at this point, without mod tools?

Not A bad idea, but haven't read enough about events to understand how they works.

I think the most important thing would be adding some religious turmoil - having your characters convert one way or another would be interesting
