Can you suggest some strategies for this faction İn the beginning? İ want to eliminate the island asap

Since the Romans start out weak in Britain, I'd focus all your energies and armies on eliminating the Picts. Build up your forces with new recruits and mercenaries, make sure to buy a mercenary onager, then head North to besiege Tuesis with overwhelming force. It may be a good idea to get trade or a non-aggression pact with the Ebdanians to make sure they don't attack you while you give the Romans a headache. You can kill them later when you're stronger if you wish.

With the Picts out of the way you can become unstoppable for the poor Romans, channelling all your forces against Eboracum and any Roman army still there. Taking the Midlands and Wales shouldn't be too hard from there, and you can always retreat to the walls at Eboracum if the going gets tough (repair it and convert it to your culture ASAP). The final drive to Londinium and Cornwall should be a natural next step, though be careful that you have a big army at Camulodunon if you decide to take it, as the Scandinavian and Northern German factions like to attack it with their fleets.

I start out immediately allying the WRE in most of my barbarian campaigns.

In my current legendary Caledonians game I hired every mercenary I could and invaded the Picts turn 1. I waited for them to sally out and then I beat them in the field. I spent turns 2-7 building up and rebuilding my army and then I invaded the Ebdanians when they declared war on the WRE. The Saxons, Britons, and 1 stack of Jutes have been invading and pillaging Britannia Superior and Inferior, and the whole island is just about ready to be conquered.

I havent played the new Celts yet, but maybe it is a good idea to make slow in the first couple of rounds.

Take your starting army and start sacking and looting the WRE in south Brittania (take no city, do this only to get some money you will need). Build up a second army in your capital. Then, wait until the Picts move their army to south britain too. After they fought their first battle (maybe against Eboracum) and they are weaker, kill them with your first army (take as much mercenaries you can get) and move your second one directly to Tuesis and siege them, so they cant recruit new Units.

Move the first army to Tuesis too and take the city.


Havent tried yet, but maybe ist a good choice to be more passive.
