Hello! Just wanted to highlight the new Caledonian Faction trait to all, suffice to say, I see this being nerfed to non-existences by modders everywhere!
So anybody think this is overkill at all? If you thought Agent wars were bad already...

And here I was thinking they got the lamest Faction Trait of the bunch.
Just wait until you see the effects of the Pict's night attack morale buff...incredible
+25%!!! I'd hate to be their enemy.
Oh great... Cant wait for those super-ugly Celtic factions with their super-fancy new faction traits waltz all over North-Western continental Europe. Total War: Britannia all over again.
Hopefully not owning the DLC will tone this down a bit.
What is the ebdanian traits I'm wondering. I know something to do with sacking and looting.
Better eliminate them quick then.
The Caledonian's agent bonuses sound like they could be devastating in the hands of a reasonably competent player, but I doubt the AI is smart enough to make decent use of them.
Though the Pict's immediate access to night battles through any general seems even stronger. Even without the morale bonus, which I'm sure is huge in the early game where units break at the drop of a hat, being able to so readily defeat the enemy in detail is better then any other faction's trait, other then maybe the Hun's deliberately overpowered bonuses.
Turning a tough 2vs1 battle into a pair of 1v1 fights is nothing short of game breaking in a game whose toughest moments involve fighting off Hunnic stacks 2 or 3 at a time. Granted, any other faction can do the same, but only with an experienced general, not right out the box.
The Ebdandians's ability is already mediocre (unless you're looking to migrate, in which case its actually not bad, but I wouldn't recommend it as Britain is a strong starting position), but compared to these other two, it feels like they got shafted.

A humble equine consul in service to the people of Rome.
Well it looks like the diplomacy was changed alot with the patch.
The Celts start out hating most Germanic factions aswell as Vikings, so a Viking or Germanic invasion of Britain is now more likely.
They also seem to not like each other very much.
Also the celtic starting roster is not particular great, they recruitments are scattered around more building (not sure if it is just optical, but I think celts are more scattered then Germans), economy is weak and their traits motivated you to rather pillage and burn everything then building empires. So I would say the Celts received small nerf.
Great, Shogun 2 all over again. I have to spend turns and turns with embedded agents just to make them into something useful, these dudes will be spitting them out Bourne like right out the gate.
Main problem with this is, as I understand it, it's a 25% success bonus to everything... as in, a +25% success chance even to manipulation (stealing enemy agents) and other such fun stuff.
+25% is going to become +10% with the next patch, I bet. I mean, good grief, 25% for everything? Even just for assassinations, that's really boosting the probability... but like I said, once you consider manipulation, it becomes comical.
