Default How to track religion changes and increases from origina location?

This has been bothering me awhile since RTW2 but it's a bigger deal here in Attila.

About 100 turns in as the WRE I've successfully destroyed the Huns and am working to stabilize the rest of the Empire before heading East to support the ERE against the Sassanids but I've started to notice that despite 95% latin Christianity I've been getting an increase in paganism but I can't find out where it's coming from as it's all over the Empire.

I've started building churches and even the monasteries that have the religious osmosis and with priests but to no avail it's increasing against the Christanity faith and reducing public order.

I've checked the religious map but in places like say Africa where everyone is pretty much dead except me I can't find where it's coming from.

All regions have one or two religions assigned to them which they automaticaly spread.

Do you have any auditoriums in your settlements? They spread Greco-Roman Paganism.

No actually I went in and removed all pagan buildings and ever since I started researching Christian tech those buildings aren't available.

Paganism might filter across boarders. In Barbarian Invasions pagan characters, spies, invading armies would cause a pagan influence.

    I can't find where it's coming from.
In history the Church felt the same and created the Inquisition.
Proculus: Divine Caesar, PLEASE! What have I done? Why am I here?
    Caligula: Treason!
Proculus: Treason? I have always been loyal to you!
Caligula: [laughs insanely] That IS your treason! You're an honest man, Proculus, which means a bad Roman! Therefore, you are a traitor! Logical, hmm? Ha, ha, ha!

Is it same level all around the empire or varies based on region? Might be something due to an event.
