Didn't really hear where they said when the Blood and Burning thing would be released...

go to 1:35 if you want to skip Will's murder.
I like what I see, I am looking forward to it
Hope there will be a version in Germany, since decapitations aren't allowed in games over here (thanks to my government for being so incredibly kind and protecting me as adult from TW!)
I hope this will be released close to the Celtic DLC - cannot wait to start a new campaign then.
People cried for it - now we get it - and some free content. I'm curious though, how many people will still start crying about it just for the sake of complaining... (edit: Mhm, I better wait until I know how much they'll charge for it, since that might indeed go beyond anything appropriate...)

Well, that would somehow silent those who complain that CA simply takes Rome 2's Blood and Gore DLC and sell it again.
To be honest, I don't like the puking much. There should be a line between realistic and entertaining. I'm OK with decapitation, maiming, pulping, charring but vomitting simply crosses that line.
That`s one of the most backasswards thing I`ve ever heard. This is a joke yes?
Even if you`re serious, you do realise that it is only your version of entertaining. I think there are a LOT more people who would be sickened at seeing a man violently having his head chopped off than simply puking, something that can be regularly seen happen at any Friday Night out.
I think the crossing of the line is just how expensive this blood mod is likely to be.
It's never meant to be a joke. I simply stated my own personal preference and I see nothing wrong with it. Can we just be civilized and respect each other's opinion? Like me being nice and never insult anyone who makes a huge fuss about something cheaper than a Subway's sandwich![]()
They took it and added a few burning corpses, vomiting and probably maiming animations. Minimal effort, even if its good and I will want it!
Most of the stuff will be taken out of R2 B&G, mark my word.

Damn, hope its a joke... From 1$ to 2$ to 8$ now? Are they crazy? Its not worth a culture pack at all... And culture packs are not worth their price either haha... such a cruel joke.

This definitely needs dust and mud textures on units for this blood pack. Come on CA step it up a notch! If Medieval 2 has it, might as well implement it also in Atilla. Imagine how awesome it is to see dust or mud in their shields and body while units fight in the battlefield.
Look at These!
You can see their shields and armor are full of sand and dust.

Same thing, but units are more covered with mud and snow this time.

Look how dark, dirty and bloody the battle went.

You know for a 2006 game (AND IT'S FREE), this clearly shows this game brought more content than you are giving in your games nowadays.
I went back to medieval 2 recently and unfortunately for you the battle engine is the only element of the game that is better than rome and attillas. You musnt say there is more content in medieval 2 than in today's tw games if half that content is bugged. Diplomacy is non existent and the battle AI is like a player selecting his whole army and double clicking attack before leaving to goo on the toilet.
Bro, all you saw there is all part of the game since launch, its free. What more can you ask for? And for the battle AI you say, have you tried germanicu5's battle AI mod? It's quite similar on attila's battle AI. And last but not least, the game was published in 2006.
Topic changer here,
I'm quite shocked to see how close to no demand for sand/snow and mud added textures for units here. Don't you guys want to see a more dark and dirtier battlefield feel when units fight? Or is it just too hollywood'ish?
Why are you complaining? Aren't you happy that the base game was already there? It's only a matter of scripting or waiting for modders to do it, and you don't have to pay extra money just to get your hands on it. In rome 2 or attila, you could probably get those as paid Content, or worse "release a new game a year after and apply it in the new game" (just like what happened to Rome 2 to Atilla).
they hardly even showed the Dlc. looks just like Rome 2 but with burning and puking.
I really don't understand this. its obvious that CA are really excited about having blood in gore in the game...who is making the decision to keep launching the game without it so it can get a T rating? Total war should be a mature game to begin with, with blood, burning, etc from the beginning. I really think the only reason this dlc exists is Sega is telling them they need to sell it at T so it can reach the largest group of people possible.
Perhaps someone who wants to sell game to as many customers in places such as Australia, RedGuard?
I am not that familiar with Australian laws but I know some games in past has problems to be sold in Australia and even today you can sometimes ends up in almost banned like state as GTA V.
About Amazon: Are we sure the Amazon is not trying to sell us Celtic dlc pack? As according to Amazon the Blood and Gore dlc is coming out exact same moment as patch and Celtic dlc. It would be strange to released one dlc you can pre-order a week prior and one which is complete surprise.
