    Most strange...maybe make a note of those units that your having problem with and I will locate the card for you?

    I can find the card but what I want to do is change it to another. Go to the custom battles for the seleucid faction and there is Antiochus III the Great (the one I wanna change) and Hippeis Agematos. They both have the same card so I created the entry :










    rom_seleucid
    Gre_Ant_III
    Gre_Ant_III
    Gre_Ant_III 0,02
    1
    Gre_Agema_Cav2 but is not reading the new entry

    So if you have created the unit card and added it into the mod with the entry changed in the unit_variants_tables, there should be no reason why it should not show?...hmm...

    well it just doesnt maybe the general have a separate file cos in vanilla u cant find them in the text file, their names must be generated somewhere else

    Nope, it would only be in the unit_variants_tables as thats where all cards are generated

    The card yes but the on-screen name which is the one that helps to track down the card is in the text files and generals names(vanilla names) are not there, not even in vanilla

    Toon how can make the infantry units disappear so I can have just the ships? In the case of some roman units is ok because they have their own card but the rest the game just loads the specific unit onto the ship

    No idea as I never created any naval units before

    I would probably use the exisiting cards if you wish?

    how about making the primary card secondary and blacking out the primary?

    Not sure mate, I have never made a ship card before as I think there set by vanilla. I think the existing ones are fine as you can determine which type of ship they are etc..I would just design the unit card and let the game assign the ship to the unit card.

    Toon could u pls check the Seleucid faction? there are three identical unit cards that i cant find the way to split them apart.

    MELEE CAVALRY SECTION


    Arabian noble cavalry
    Nubian noble cavalry
    and somehow I have another unit of Arabian noble cavalry.

    Also
    Camel spearmen
    armoured camel warriors


    I have their cards ready, changed their names and even tried changing their unit names but nothing, keep loading the same card.

    Have you found the units via the units_variant file? As you may have to cross check this file to locate the unit?

    Ok here goes:

    The Arabian Noble cavalry has duplicate card as there are two units (one as stock unit and the other is for Mercs, so use the same card). The Nubian noble cavalry and the armoured camel warriors are the same as above.

    The Camel spearmen use the Ara_Camel_Spear UI card as they are Vanilla unit.

    yeah all that I know what I dont understand is why the cards dont change if I have created the appropriate entry for each one of them + the corresponding new card.

    Ara_Noble_Cav is same card for Arabian Noble cavalry and Nubian noble cavalry

    Yes but if u change each one of them and assigned a different card in the units_variant file like I have done 200 times already they should change to the new one but is not working and I dont know why

    I´m practically doing a card per unit so they are all different but some of them dont wanna change and I dont know why and it bugs me to see the same card for different units
