    Title says it all.
    Gate towers, stone/wooden towers, all towers : when captured, does not become destroyed, switch side and fire on the new enemy.

    A version which neutralizes them would also be good as well. Stop them collapsing and just have them empty until the defender retakes them.

    I honestly don't think this is possible, otherwise I'm sure we would have seen multiple mods featuring this by now. Unfortunately it's a stupid unnecessary change we have to stick with for arbitrary reasons

    Actually, I've experienced one battle on a Roman minor settlement map where I could actually capture a tower, and it started firing on the defenders. Sure, this is technically a bug, but maybe the possibility is there...

    I've seen it too, and I hesitated about talking about it because I had a lot of mods activated + didnt remember the actual settlement's name... I even told Leving (it was just after the patch) "hey towers can be captured again now!" but nop. Seems to be a bug of the game, but it also means that there is a way to replicate that bug.

    Aha, I also told Leving about it... that must it!

    Well, I'm hoping that we might be able to change this when we get those mod tools...
