    Icon5 Alaman first steps.

Hello. I started a new campaign with Alamans. After kill the Vandals in the 2 first turns I manage to get defensive/military alliance with all my germany neighbors, start a war against WRE and convince my allies to join war. All WRE province bordering us are, literaly, on fire with 6 germany factions sacking and razing. Suddenly in turn 8 a full stack army of WRE with superheavy soldiers goes to my capital to smash me ignoring any other threat and and even passing through its own sieged regions just to get my city and kick my ass.

I reset the campaign 2 times and this behavior repeats.

Can somebody give me some advices about the aproach to follow in the few first Alaman campaign?

8'be found its not very wise to attack Rome any sooner than 15 or so turns in. After that point the majority of Rome's armies will have been obliterated or dealing with the Gothic threat. Also try to take (or confederate if you're using Dresden's mod, highly recommended) the whole province of Germania. It's quite easy to get the Langobards to confederate with you and after that it's just attacking the Thuringians. Once that's over begin raiding Roman territory, taking either Argentoratum or Vindelicorum first

I've not played as the Alamans but after a few campaigns with the Franks, I can say don't attack the Romans. They look like easy pickings with plenty of easy cities to raid but especially early on, they will have the money and armies to fight back. In my best campaign, I didn't attack WRE until after turn 120. You can rely on the rebels/emergent factions popping up everywhere and weakening the empire to the point where you can take anything.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I am me. You are not me. You are you. If I was you, I wouldn't be me.
If you were me, I'd be sad.But I wouldn't then be me because you'd be me so you wouldn't be me because I wasn't me because you were me but you couldn't be because I'd be a different me. I'd rather be any kind of bird (apart from a goose) than be you because to be you I'd have to not be me which I couldn't do unless someone else was me but then they would be you aswell so there would still be no me. They would be you because I was you so to restore balance you would have to be me and them meaning all three of us would become one continously the same. That would be very bad.
